At the heart of Terakawa Ramen's charm is a menu that beautifully merges tradition with creativity. One standout dish is the Bibim Noodle, which combines warm or cold wavy egg noodles tossed in a spiced bean paste sauce. Topped with chicken, kimchee, kikurage mushrooms, corn, cucumber, sesame seeds, and a seasoned boiled egg, this dish is a delightful explosion of flavor that brings a unique twist to traditional ramen.
For those seeking a hearty dose of comfort, the Pork Shoyu is a must-try. This light soy sauce and chicken broth base features succulent roast pork topped with bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and a perfectly cooked seasoned egg. The rich aroma and the deep flavor of the broth will enwrap you, making every sip a warming companion on chilly days.
Vegetarians will be equally impressed with the Veggie Miso Ramen, which boasts a robust vegetable broth brimming with seasonal veggies, ensuring that deep and rich flavors are not reserved solely for meat dishes. Compliment this with a side of crispy Kara-age chicken for a satisfying meal experience.

A must try ramen spot in Philly! We had a great experience at Terakawa! For appetizers, we ordered the croquette and it was delicious but we were a little surprised by the small portion size. For ramen, I had the vegetarian miso ramen and my partner had the tan tan ramen. Both were fantastic but if I had to choose, I'd go with the Tan Tan Ramen next time. The broth was rich, flavorful and had so much depth compared to the lighter miso broth. The restaurant itself is super cute with cozy and warm vibes. Our server was attentive and provided great service throughout. I'm 100% coming back to try more of their ramen and appetizers!

This place is one of a kind, a true treasure trove. So sad that it is only up north, I was so kindly shown this place while on vacation and the ("Miso Ramen & Curry Rice") is to die for. But I only got to visit twice before having to head home. If your trying to get a seat inside you have to come early because this place is always busy and filled no matter what because the food is !! Even placing a order to go trust me everything will make it home still piping hot and fresh, Can't wait to come back! P.s ordering online is just as great to

Our go to for flavorful ramen on a wintry day, the food is always on point, the staff friendly and service is quick! Thanks!

Great food, service, and ambiance – I might say Terakawa is super authentic. The staffs were also friendly as we were waitlisted for only about 10 minutes. I got Chicken Shoyu ramen which was good as the broth was flavorful with a rich aroma. I and my friends also ordered some side dishes like seaweed salad, chicken kara-age (the chicken was cooked just right! Really love their homemade signature sauce), takoyaki, and others. Also, super cool interior!

Literally outstanding! Picked it randomly while passing by. Try the TAKOYAKI! Couldn't get over how delicious it was. No joke. Also loved the Spicy Ramen bowl. Very good spice level. Not wimpy. Was like a level 7 out of 10 on the spiciness. Was perfect. In a nice area of University City. I've already thought about bringing others there to check it out since I left! Service was awesome too and genuine. Can't say enough good about it. . On my new faves list!

Perfect place to eat on a rainy day! It was exactly what we needed. Prompt service, generous portions, and everyone is so kind! Street parking only. Definitely the best Ramen I've eaten in Philly!

I'm from northern Japan and Terakawa’s Spicy Miso ramen reminds me of my hometown’s ramen. I’ve never tried Hakata style ramen from here so not sure if it's good yet, but about miso ramen, Terakawa is the best in Philly. Very authentic Japanese ramen. Curry rice is super delicious too!!! The staff is always friendly and their response is very quick.

Great food, 10 or so tables plus a bar. This was my first time here but not too busy. Someone was at the front counter as soon as I walked in to make sure I was taken care of and they got my order as soon as I walked in to pick it up. It's also real nice that they have an order screen when you walk in so you can order, pay and then leave and to get a text as soon as it's ready.
